If the focal length at the wide end of your lens is less than 10mm, the adapter should be compatible with your lens; otherwise, you may experience focus issues
If the focal length at the wide end of your lens is between 10 and 20mm, your lens will need to have back focus adjustment in order to achieve focus
The adapter will not work on your lens if the minimum focal length of your lens is more than 20mm

Horrible barrel distorion with my Sony RX10-IV

Using it as specified with a correct lens length, the barrel distortion is so high it's simply unsuable, and corrections cause the image to be VERY-little larger than the images shot without the adapter.. Autofocus was very good.. I wasted $200 on this one.. Buy at your own risk.

When I purchased my Sony HXR-NX5U - from a different retailer - I wound up buying a Special Package Deal. I love the NX5U, however the tripod, telephoto adapter and wide angle adapter that I received were all very poor quality (that's the last time I'll ever do business with them). I've recently started to shoot property listings for a real estate company, which requires the use of a wide angle lens... the company didn't like the vignetting of my audition shoot, so I purchased this 72mm Cavision. What a difference in quality - there's no vignetting in the corners of the shot and no significant distortion at the edges. I've learned that B&H sells quality equipment for all different levels and budgets. I'm keeping my original adapter as a joke/special effect, it's just awful.

Yes, the Sony Z200 camcorder has a 72mm filter thread that the Cavision LWA08X72 0.8x Wide-Angle Adapter 72mm would work with.

The Sony PXW-Z300 3-CMOS XDCAM Camcorder has a filter diameter of 77mm, so the Cavision LWA08X72 0.8x Wide-Angle Adapter 72mm would not be compatible.

That depends on the camera you are using and its focal length. However is very easy to figure out, you just need to multiply the focal length by 0.8. So if the lens is 24mm, you would times that by 0.8 and it will equal 19.2mm.

You can fit this lens to the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX10 II with a Cavision 62 to 72mm Step-up Ring (Medium-Thick) B&H # CAAR7262D10. However, this combination is unknown and may or may not work.

We have not tested the LWA08X72 on that specific camera with supplied 8.8-220mm lens. However, it will fit onto the lens’ 72mm filter thread and should most likely retain focus on the low end of the focal length range. To focus on the mid to higher end focal length range you would need to have a macro focus control on the lens.
