It is excellent for keying, but slight yellow domination is there.

Great for Jewlery photos

question

Honestly, I know nothing about this stuff...if I bought this could I (to save money) basically pin it to my wall & just crop out the edges? I have started to create videos for youtube and for webinars and need a more professional looking background than my wall.

The role of this chroma panels is to cover your usual background with a uniform color, easy to electronically identify pixel by pixel and remove, leaving the space transparent , like a layer of plastic with only the desired image on it...then using a code, overlap that desired layer over another picture containing the background, and one can put anything one may like to...The blue and green chroma, fabrics you buy are good, but one must take care to be perfectly flat, and nicely uniform illuminated, with no crisps or spots. The code ( a kind of photoshop, etc.) have to be good enough to make a nice match between the background image and the image extracted from that with chroma background...but I will stop here, because there are some professional details associated (illumination, spectra, reflected background, content matching, etc.) - saving money is a relative term, I can not evaluate...it depends...Success
