It seems that the entire line of Sanyo projectors is to be taken seriously, as they are loaded with features and their total cost of ownership makes them a valuable presentation device for any market. The PDG-DXL100 DLP Projector is no exception. This beamer is created from the ground up with DLP technology, which offers a longer life span and improved reliability.
The projector combines a five segment color wheel along with 2,700 lumens and a 750:1 contrast ratio, making the images it displays clear and precise. One of the best features of the device is that it can project a full 80" image from a distance of only 39". This means large images even in relatively small room. This frees up more room space, and cuts down on the possibility of viewers blocking the image with their shadows.
The PDG-DXL100 has an 8-watt speaker, loud enough for an average classroom or business meeting room. This eliminates the need for a separate speaker system. The PDG-DXL100 offers excellent versatility via 2 D-Sub 15 input/output terminals. Using an optional adapter cable, the D-Sub 15 input can even accept component video signals. One of the D-Sub terminals can be connected and used for monitor output for greater flexibility. The PDG-DXL100 is equipped with Sanyo's exclusive PJ Network Interface for wired networking. Networking allows the monitoring of projector functions and operation from a distance via a Web browser. Emails can be sent automatically to report the projector's operating status.
Lastly, the device provides a closed caption option for the audio portion of a television signal as printed words are projected on screen.
