The MXL PF-005-G Universal Metal Mesh Pop-Filter (Gold) is a studio-grade filter with a metal design for maximum rigidity and minimal wear. The filter mounts onto MXL large condenser microphones with its integrated clamp.

This actually fits some of my Neumann Mics and is a nice alternative to muffling foam screens

The MXL PF-005-G Metal Mesh Pop Filter (Gold) is designed to fit microphones with a diameter of approximately 50mm and the Audio-Technica AT4047MP Multi-Pattern Condenser Microphone has a diameter of 53.3mm, so the PF-005-G is not a good match. As alternatives for metal mesh pop filters that will fit the AT4047MP, you can use the Auray OMPF-33 On-Microphone Pop Screen (BH # AUOMPF33), the Telefunken PL05 Pop Filter for 1.65 to 2.36" Diameter Microphone Bodies (BH # TEPL05), or the 512 AUDIO Microphone Pop Filter with Gooseneck C-Clamp (BH # 51512POP).

This pop filter can be used with a mic in a shock mount, such as the MXL MXL-57 High-Isolation Microphone Shock Mount, (Black) B&H # MX57.

Does this make the mic too heavy to be used with a scissor mic arm?

This pop filter would not add significant weight to effect your mic being put on to a studio arm.
