I’ve been using this superb lens, first on the GH4, then on the GH5, and now on the G9II with superb results in a highly useful range equivalent to 14-28mm full frame… I’ve also customized a 3x3”, 100mm filter holder, so that I can use ND and ND graduated filters on the front of the lens. The results have been perfection on this A+++ lens

I've been using this lens with both a GH4 and GH5 for the past two years and I find it's ideal for interview settings. I typically shoot in 3840 x 2160 and this lens allows me to get the camera fairly close for a two-shot, shoot wider that what I need, crop up to 300% in FCPX and still export in 1920 x 1080 while maintaining a pristine image. It's my go-to lens for interviews and it hasn't failed me yet.

Can you put filters on this lens since it is so wide?
Unfortunately for now there are no options to directly attach filters to this lens. An avenue you could take is getting a matte box and filters that attach to that.

Unfortunately we do not carry the replacement lens cap for the 7-14mm lens, but I was able to find the name of the lens cap: Panasonic VFC4412. You would have to search for that item elsewhere to find a replacement for your lens.

We are using this lens on the GH4 for video but need a Neutral Density Filter so we can stop it down on bright days. What would recommend? Even if it's a Matte Box
Adding to the question.... so if I buy this lens I also need to purchase the filter ring adapter, the filter holder, and filters? That doubles the cost of the lens. The Olympus is looking to be a better option.

There are post production plug-ins available for removing video lens distortion. It is a process and be prepared to do some work. We suggest starting with Adobe's lens distortion removal software.http://adobe.ly/1p8uQiH

The Panasonic 7-14mm f/4.0 ASPH Lens is fully compatible with the Olympus AM-D E-M5 without the need of an adapter, yes. This lens can be used on any micro four thirds mount camera.
