    Museo 09793 reviews

    Large Inkjet Artist Cards (11 x 7.37", 100 Cards & Envelopes) is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 27.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect color / quality I compared color output to my Epson Ultrasmooth Fine Art paper which I love and color was identical. I am printing on an Epson Stylus Pro 9890. I experimented between the simple Enhanced Matte Paper MK profile as recommended for Inkjet Artist Cards and the color profile I downloaded for Inkjet Artist Cards from http://www.museofineart.com. Color was bad when using the profile downloaded for Inkjet Artist Cards. To reiterate, color was perfect with the simple Enhanced Matte Paper MK profile. I am thrilled to have such good quality on pre-cut, pre-scored cards. I set up my own template in Lightroom 3. Worked beautifully. Highly recommend.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from "New And Improved" Is Not So Improved I print cards for a gallery I own in the UK. I've been using Museo Artist Cards for a few years in different sizes. I've tried other products but nothing came close to the quality of Museo. Until now. I just received a new box of the Museo large card stock ("New And Improved" stamped on the box) and the difference from their old card stock is very noticeable. To the point where I can't mix the old with the new stock to sell in card packs. The paper is obviously thinner and the beautiful texture is gone. It may still be better than Avery stock...but not by much. Once I finish this box I'll be looking for a replacement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Stock for Cards I ordered these cards to do custom promotional cards and holiday greeting cards, and couldn't be happier. I was concerned about the color shift that might occur due to the natural white cast, but Museo provides icc profiles that allow you to print without going through a custom calibration. I print the cards using an Epson R1900 - the ink coverage and print clarity is excellent. The only heads up - make sure you set paper thickness to it's heaviest if printing the envelopes with a laser printer. Otherwise, the toner doesn't properly fuse. For the same reason, I would not run heavy coverage graphics and photos duplex through a laser printer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best artist cards available Ever since they first came out I have used Museo cards to make photo cards for all occasions. The cards and envelopes are made from high quality fine arts paper that is printable on both sides. I have successfully printed them on an Epson 1200, 1400 and Stylus Pro 4000. The paper translates the various types of inks into beautiful prints consistent with the original image. Never had the stock jam. I've tried other brands but have never found anything comparable.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Now more expensive with less quality Sadly, Museo decreased the weight of these cards, changed the finish and increased the price. They aren't a quality card stock any longer. I'll have to find an alternative stock.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality paper for photographic cards I have used Museo Artis cards for years to make photo greeting and Christmas cards. They are excellent for that purpose. My Epson R2880 with K3 inks produce professional level looking photo cards. The slight cream color of the paper generally adds a bit warmth to the photo but not so much as to be distracting from the color corrected image on your monitor..

Rated 1 out of 5 by from New & Improved? Why would you try to improve a superior product. I have been printing with Crane Museo for many years and the last couple of boxes have been incredibly inferior. The paper is lighter, the wonderful texture gone, the print quality is horrible . . . day and night from the Old & Original!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceptional Quality I make fine art black & white prints on these cards, and the results are stunning. The paper impeccably retains the tonal scale; the shadows are rich, and the highlights retain their delicacy.
