The Joby Gorillapod SLR Zoom Tabletop Tripod w/ BH1-01EN Ball Head is a combination of their very strong "SLR-Zoom" model Gorillapod with a perfectly-matched ball head capable of supporting the weight that the legs can hold well.

The Gorillapod is a watershed item in camera supports, an original which has been extensively copied.  Like most times this happens, the original does have some advantages in quality.

Flexible joints allow Gorillapod to wrap around fences, tree branches, etc.
Delivered with a ball head with a quick release system

Gorillapod SLR-Zoom Flexible Mini Tripod w/ BH1-01EN Ball Head is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 321.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for International Travel First off I must say ever since the original Gorillapod came out I thought they were useless. They seemed flimsy and cheap and would never be able to hold up a 'real' camera. Let me say I was wrong. This thing is a beast. It EASILY holds my full frame Canon with my 70-200 f4 L lens, among others. The other night I was able to wrap it around a post and do some long exposure night photography. It fits in the bottom of my camera bag and weighs less than a pound. After using this I even bought their smaller model for my GoPro. If you travel a lot, and don't want to bring a tripod but need it less than 1% of the time, this is for you. -Happy Buyer

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad Gorillapod I use one of these for a Nikon D5000 and only had it for just over 1 year. The flexible joints that the ball fits into cracked. I did some research on the internet and found out other people had the same problem. Some of them got their Gorillapod replaced from Joby, so I contacted Joby. I realize it was just past the warranty period but what is Joby going to do about their product failing. They told me to put some Superglue on it. For that reason I would never buy one again and for all the people who say it won't hold their camera, look at the joints, they are probably cracked. Joby should stand behind it's product that is made from obviously poor material.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Space Saver I purchased this product to use with my spotting scope while hunting from a blind. While it is not as sturdy as a traditional tripod it works exceptionally well. I can clamp the product to the window sill of the blind and not have to maneuver around a tripod. Very pleased with how well this product fits the application I purchased it for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight and versatile! This product was purchased as a gift and our daughter was very excited to try it out as soon as it arrived. She was very happy with it and said that it was working out very well.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unusual but limited uses This product is pitched at being able to hold 3kgs and as a tabletop tripod. The packaging pictures show a DSLR mounted on it when it is wrapped around a tree branch and only a small point & shoot when used as a table-top tripod. Well the pictures don't lie. Do not expect this tripod to hold its position/shape with straight legs with over 2 kgs on it - it won't. On a brand new unit, the ball joints which make up the legs start to move with the weight and finally fold over, sending your prized DSLR and lens toppling over. What weight will it hold after some use and the joints become even more flexible? Will put this purchase down to experience and leave it for use on the kids' cameras.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not sure how I ever lived without this... ... oh that's right, I just had lousy shaky footage. Two seconds after removing it from the package, I broke one of the legs in half but it popped back together. That's probably the result of my incredible hulk strength though. I can topple buildings just by leaning against them. Takes some practice to adjust this but the biggest surprise of all is how much weight and unbalanced load it will support! Check out the photo I am uploading.Definitely glad I splurged for this model instead of the one that is $ or $ cheaper. The only other Joby product I own isn't all that made or designed but this one is great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile Mini Tripod I love this tripod! The fact that it can bend in many ways is amazing. I also like how low it can go. I normally use my large Manfrotto tripod for pretty much everything but there are times when I want a low angle but cannot hold the DSLR steady so this bad boy becomes very handy! Attach a Manfrotto quick release adaptor or any other kind of quick release and you're ready to shoot any time and anywhere. I love how light and durable the tripod is. It can pretty much bend right in half and it'll fit anywhere in my camera bag. You can wrap it around anything as well and use it as a stabilizer for a light weight video camera such as a GoPro. Great stuff Joby!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite travel tripod I bought this before a trip and couldn't be happier I did. It is small, light, but sturdy and so practical. I did great long exposure photography with the tripod and DSLR on a bridge or even wrapped around a street lamp. I use it as a selfie stick or for couples pictures instead of handing the camera over to strangers. It was sturdy enough in windy conditions but in very windy conditions my guess is it can remain sturdy with its legs wrapped around something. As a bonus, the mount has a water level and I decided to keep it on the camera at all times. It is also very quick to setup or release and the single knob makes the job straightforward.
