  • Ultra Wide-Angle 8mm Fisheye Lens
  • Aperture Range: f/3.5-22
  • Hybrid Aspherical Elements
The Bower SLY 358N 8mm f/3.5 Ultra-Wide Fisheye Lens is compatible with Nikon APS-C cameras; it features a 180° angle of view that allows the photographer to see his subjects in unique way. This ultra-wide delivers a rounded perspective, well-suited to landscapes and unusual portraiture. It has multi-coated elements and a fixed petal-type lens hood to reduce flare and ghosting. This lens must be used in manual focus and manual exposure modes. This lens must be operated in Manual mode only with Nikon cameras--functions controlled by the camera (such as autofocus, auto exposure, etc.) will not be operative.

question

Will this work on nilkon D90?
Asked by: Anonymous
Yes, this will work with the Nikon D90. This model Nikon has the ASPC sensor that this lens was made for. Please keep in mind that you will have to focus, and set the aperture manually on the lens it self. For the money this is a great lens. I took pictures of cars that had some very unique effects.

question

Does the Nikon mount version work with Nikon D3200?
Asked by: Woody C.
Yep, I have a D3200 and use this lens. It fits all standard Nikon F mount Cameras. Key thing to note is that this lens is designed for a cropped sensor (APS-C), If you plan on upgrading in the future to a full sensor Nikon this lens will also fit, however it will by default crop your images. Just something to keep in mind.

question

How does one use filters with a lens like this?
Asked by: Derek
Hello, no filters will fit as the lens protrudes and there is no way to screw a filter on, you might be able to hold one on the front or find a way to tape it on. That is not a dumb answer I would be curious too if I have not had several experiences with fish eye lenses, good question!!

question

WHAT IS THE SETTING FOR MANUAL FOCUS FOR THE WIDE LENS ON THE NIKON 3200?
Asked by: Anonymous
The camera can only work with manual lenses when it is set to Mode M (manual). Aperture is adjusted manual via the lens aperture ring. And the camera exposure meter will not function.Page 169 of the manual describes that. This is a link for the manual http://bit.ly/1Kk5qP0.
