The Panasonic WJ-GXD400 Multi Channel High Definition Video Decoder can be used to display multiple i-Pro megapixel network cameras or encoders on an HDMI monitor. Images can be viewed in a 3 split screen with 1 4VGA resolution image (1280 x 960) and 2 VGA resolution images, or 6 VGA resolution images simultaneously in a 6 split screen configuration. By combining images with different resolutions on the same screen, a security administrator can view critical security areas in superior detail and at the same time keep an eye on areas of lesser importance in lower resolution, thus saving network and storage resources. Regardless of resolution each image can be displayed at 30 FPS so no critical frames are missed.
