The B&W 67mm Soft Focus Attachment Soft Pro Glass Diffusion Filter (Slim) is used to give flattering softness to portraits and landscapes. By using a series of fine-grade "lenticular protrusions", the light is diffused enough to create a slight halo while retaining sharpness. This effect is especially effective when photographing women and even more effective when blond hair is present since it generates highlights off the lighter hair color. This filter is also particularly effective when a dreamy, ethereal look is desired.
B&W slim filters are for wide-angle lenses and are 3mm thick. They do not have a front thread.
