Poor Workmanship

I expected better quality control from an item made in the USA. There is no pride from whoever made these. The ends that pick up the paper are unfinished with sharp flashing which I had to trim off with a dremel. One of the two tongs was closed so I had to heat up the plastic to bend them open. I can't recommend these at all. Best to try other brands.

I have used these since Star Trek was on the first time. They have always worked well. Silver based photography is almost gone, along with the magic that went with it. I am trying to set up a darkroom and expose my kids to that magic before it is completely gone.

Good, basic tongs

Good, basic tongs for B & W printing. Although the web site picture showed two yellow tongs, there was actually one yellow and one blue in the package. Not a big deal at all as I actually prefer the different colors as I always use the same tongs in the same chemical. There was some easily removed molding flash on the tips. A light pass with sandpaper took care of this, but be aware of it lest you possibly scratch your prints. Also, these tongs are made in the USA!

Terrible Tongs

I bought these hoping that they would be better than the rubber-tipped tongs I had that were wearing out. The plastic ends don't grip 11x14-in. paper; and prints kept sliding out of them.
