Rated 4 out of 5 by from I've used this brand for 30+ years I've tried every type of squeegee and always came back to the Yankee. While simple and rather crude it does the job very nicely once you learn it's quirks. I always soak in water for 15-20 minutes before using, squeeze out the water and wipe very gently. My negs are spot/scratch free and dry very quickly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked great! I have to admit that I was a little hesitant, since I've always used the rubber squeegee, but after my first use I am sold! This squeegee seems to give a more balanced pass and didn't leave lines or scratches like my rubber type has left. This will definitely be my go to film squeegee now.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from not really worth it i bought this to see if it worked any better than my ribber squeegee; not impressed. first off you could honestly make one of these yourself for $1 or so with a normal household sponge, secondly if you are using this with film that you've developed in c-41 there isn't really enough stabilizer on the film to make the sponge saturated enough to really absorb it, it somewhat just moves it around. but if you are working with black and white and can pre soak it with water and squeeze it out it will help you dry your negatives fairly well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does The Job at a Good Price I like this squeegee because of the sponge inserts that are not as likely to scratch your film as a squeegee with rubber might. Light weight and the handles flex so it is easy to squeegee the full width of film. I would buy this again after it wears out or dries out beyond usefulness. It is getting harder to find film equipment as it is but this is good anyway

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not as useful as I had hoped. I tried using this squeegee for black and white as well as c41 processed film, but it never returned a good result. There was always a smudge that ran down the entire length of the film. This could be user error. My best results are due to proper processing, applying wetting agent, and proper dry time in a dust free environment. Black and white film, if processed, washed and photoflo is applied, shouldn't need a squeegee to dry properly. Some color film chemistry kits do not include a wetting agent in the final stabilizer step which will lead to spotty negatives. I suppose a color chemistry kit could use a squeegee for drying color negatives, but I would recommend a rubber squeegee. Even though a rubber squeegee runs the risk of scratching your negatives more easily, it is much more effective than a foam squeegee.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice, but weakly constructed My personal preference is for a film squeegee with sponges rather than rubber blades. This one fills that bill nicely, however, the plastic handle is poorly constructed and can break easily, ... as my first one did.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from works but a little unexpected it would have been nice to know that I had to dampen it in order to use it otherwise it will scratch up your film, fortunately I figured this out before using it for the first time.
