The Samsung SL720 Digital Point & Shoot Camera is a 12-megapixel camera with a 28-140mm (in 35mm format) wide angle lens with a 5x optical zoom. One of this camera's main features is that it can record super-sharp movie recordings in 720p (HD) format on one movie clip. You can also pause and re-record clips to get it right and with its built-in HDMI port users can playback images on a high-definition television.
The SL-720's technology includes Dual Image Stabilization and a top ISO of 3200, to keep photos sharp even in low light. It comes with a 3-inch LCD for composing and viewing still and movie images, Samsung's SMART Auto (scene recognition) technology has 11 optimized picture settings to insure that the camera's settings are automatically set for any lighting situation. It also has face detection to keep subjects faces properly exposed. With Smile Detection, the SL720 recognizes a smiling face and with blink detection it captures a series of pictures when eyes are closed.
