Bower T-Mount to Nikon F Mount Adapter

At rear of this lens I was going to use it on, I thought was normal part of lens.To which this adapter would screw on and then I would mount my Nikon D700 to adapter.It was a adapter all ready on this lens maybe.At any rate when adapter sent me was placed on lens it made lens 1/2 inch further from camera body and thus would not focus at infinity.Adapter did go on camera with locking procedure.There was no mistake by salesman on this purchase.At any rate the adapter can not be used on lens.Lens was given to me.There is another problem with this lens.It is a 600mm lens and weighs 5.5 lbs.Focusing ring seems all but frozen and thus can hardly be turned without disturbing position as to subject composition.I thought of returning ring and my do so.Have idea for its use to make pin hole camera.
