The Lorex CVC6998HR is, in addition to its 480 TVL of resolution, equipped with powerful IR illumination for viewing in the dark up to 150' away. IR illumination is automatically activated in low light settings, and operates in tandem with a true Day/Night IR cut filter switching mechanism. This way you can be sure that regardless of the time of day or night, if its happening in the camera's viewing range it'll be captured in great detail. Lorex also provided it with a weatherproof casing and an integrated sunshade so that the camera is unaffected by outdoor weather conditions.
