Is it easier to focus manually with this screen compared to the standard screen? How is the focusing with large aperture and small aperture lenses?
I like the above screens much better, and the standard screen I dont like at all. With the Digital DSLR, they have made it very difficult to manually focus a lens, and all you have is the back ground or ground glass as a focusing aid. Pentax cameras have both a sound and visual indicator when the what you are focusing is in focus in manual mode. Look into your camera manual. My favorite screen is the one that looks a out of WWII movie, of a submarine taking aim at a ship to be torpedoed.
