The Pelco 8-Channel MUX Card for DX8108 series DVRs displays real-time video on the main VGA monitor at 30 ips. The card provides an external BNC connector for connecting an analog monitor, and has no jumper or switch settings. It is installed in slot 4 of the DX8108 and attached via a 32-pin ribbon cable.
The DX8108-MUX card is installed in DX8100 systems that contain an 8-channel capture card. A second 8-channel capture card is required if a second 8-channel MUX card is to be installed. The DX8100-ISCI and Nexsan SATABoy storage array options can be installed in combination with the MUX card.
