Casio EX-H10 overview

  • 1Description

The Casio Exlim EX-H10 combines Japanese technology with a stylish, ultra-slim design in Casio's first "Superzoom" camera. The 12-megapixel EX-H10 allows users to capture images with a range of easy to use shooting modes, including: Auto Best Shot, Make-up Shot and Face Recognition, which optimize settings for any given subject and lighting situation.

The Exlim EX-H10 is equipped with a 10x optical zoom and a 4x digital zoom to get in close without compromising image quality, and with its 24mm wide angle lens (35mm equivalent) it can capture a range of different subjects from large groups of people to landscapes. It also has a High-Definition (HD) movie function activated with the simple touch of a button to create movies at 1280 x 720 pixels.

The EX-H10 comes with a long-lasting battery that can capture 1,000 still images and can playback for approx. 11 hours on a full charge. This slim camera with a 3.0" LCD color display can fit easily into any small space such as a pocket or purse (less than 1" deep) and can go anywhere.

10X Optical & 4x Digital Zoom
This camera boasts up to 40X zoom with the combination of 10X optical and 4X digital with 12.1 million effective pixels. Take pictures of entire buildings or far away objects without losing focus, or capture close-up images from a distance.
24mm Wide Lens
No need to step back to take that panoramic shot. With a 24mm wide lens the EX-H10 has the capacity to view a landscape, building or entire scene in just one frame. The camera also has a CCD-shift image stabilization mechanism.
1000 Shot Battery Life
Casio has improved the battery life of the camera, with a NP-90 rechargeable Lithium-ion battery. You can capture approximately 1,000 images or playback for 11 hours on a full charge.
Dynamic Photo Mode
Thanks to the high-speed image processing capability of its engine, a moving subject can be cut out of a number of images and combined with a different still shot that forms a background. A unique digital camera image where only the main subject in the photo is moving can be created using just the camera, with no editing on a computer.
10X Optical Zoom
A 10x zoom combines with CMOS shift stabilization for beautiful images even at high zoom factors where images are prone to blurring.
HD Movie Function
Just by pressing the dedicated movie button the Exlim EX-H10 will record beautiful HD movies at a size of 1280 x 720 pixels.
Make-Up Mode
In addition to recognizing faces and adjusting focus and exposure accordingly, the EX-H10 can make adjustments to smooth skin in images and soften facial shadows caused by sunlight, creating beautiful photographs of people's faces. The photographer can choose from one of twelve levels of skin beauty using different strengths of image processing, and can shoot after viewing the results in the LCD monitor.
Super Clear LCD
A 3.0" color LCD allows you to view your pictures and videos clearly on the back of the camera.
Reduced Energy Consumption
Casio has reduced energy consumption by improving the circuitry and operational controls.
