question
How many seconds does the frame hold a recording?
The frame has 512mb of internal memory built in, and supports SD cards up to 32gb in capacity. It plays .avi type video files, which can vary in length depending on which camera you captured the video with. If you have a video on your camera, check to see how many megabytes the file is, and how long the file plays for and that will give you an idea of how much video you can get with the internal memory.

question
what is the highest capacity memory card supported?
I am not sure but I have a lot on there and I keep putting more on and no problem all so I have it set to go on and off of time in the day and it has always came on. I really like it but if I do it again I will get a bigger one its on my desk. I love it. Had it for awhile no problem.

question
what video file format should be used for the video frame? Will it work on the SD card or do I have to put the videos on the internal memory?
The videos will work on what they will fit on. If there's enough internal storage, that will work. Otherwise, the SD card. Strangely, the format has to be AVI. This causes files to be large but it works fine. Once you're past the conversion (many conversion tools available online), they look beautiful in the frame. Everything looks great in it.
