The heavy weight of 340 gsm, thickness of 21 mil, and opacity of 98% further give this paper the look and feel of a true fine art paper. Epson S042300 reviews

Cold Press Natural Paper (13 x 19", 25 Sheets) is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely Textrued Paper Holds the Blacks I have not been a fan of matte paper until I tried the Epson Fine Art Papers. I had a sample pack I picked up at a trade show. I printed a test print on the Hot Press Natural paper and loved the results. To be honest, I thought I was buying the Hot Press Natural, so I printed several more test prints on the sample paper of the Cold Press and it's just as nice. The matte papers I've used in the past generally look flat and dull, but the Epson FAPs are very nice with solid black points. I'm very excited to try a few more. It works really well with dreamy, watercolor-y type images. The texture is stronger than the Hot Press product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Watercolor Paper for R1900 I am a professional artist and run off prints of my watercolors and other media as well. When I used Fabriano cold press textured paper with the Epson R1900, the smaller 11x15 prints for a 16x20 format were decent but the 13x19's were a disappointment. I took the advice of an Epson technician who suggested I should try the Epson watercolor paper made especially for the R1900 or R2880 and when this paper arrived, I tried it and the 13x19 print was superb. Eye popping color and very sharp. I could not obtain an ICC printer profile for the Fabriano. The Epson Cold Press Natural Textured Matte Paper ICC printer profile should be downloaded for Adobe, which can be done at an Epson site featuring this paper. While searching for a good price for this paper on internet, I found that B+H Photo had the best price!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressive My standard printing paper is smooth-surfaced Epson Hot Press Natural but sometimes I want a more textured surface. Cold Press Natural has become that paper for the majority of those times. I love the substantial feel and the weight of the paper. The not-so-bright natural whites are clean, the blacks are black, colors are radiant and the texture is just about perfect. I just finished a project of printing some of my older photographs done with compact cameras and less than state-of-the-art digital equipment. Although the quality of the photos are excellent for the time, they lack the resolution and sharpness of today's better cameras. To maintain the overall look but hide the imperfections, Cold Press Natural was my choice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exhibition quality I was fortunate that a major research library believed my images that were in an exhibition earlier this year were good enough to be added to its permanent collection. The original prints were on lustre paper. But the institution would only accept cotton fiber. Because B&H had a selection of Epson papers on hand to sample, it was a bit of a challenge with so many offerings. My prints were in Black and White and I wanted a warm feel to them. Hence, picking the Cold Press Natural. My images were printed on a $5,000.00 Epson printer. The results were breathtaking. I could see detail that was absent in the lustre prints. By all means, buy this paper and see the results of your images that you would never see in less quality paper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEAUTIFUL PAPER Epson has hit a major home run with this paper. I printed a series of Black & White beach scenes that ranged from very subtle tones to ones with punchy contrast. The Cold Press Natural handled all with ease to show amazing detail and beauty. The paper handles great, it has wonderful heft and the texture on it is simple gorgeous. The Cold Press natural does have a warm tint to it which adds to my images' moods. I will use this paper on many of my future exhibits. There is absolutely no downside to this paper. Try it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this paper! This is exactly what I was looking for in a paper. I've used more expensive artist papers for ink jet printing, but this is high-quality and very heavy, very nice. The inks are vibrant and many people looking at my prints on the Epson Matte paper thought they were silkscreen prints! Again, that's just what I was going for, as I am doing ink jet prints of illustrations I had created earlier color seps for to screen. It's much easier just print a limited edition ink jet series on this lovely paper:)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible Paper I love this paper. The prints look fantastic, the images are crisp and the texture really brings the images to life. I paint on canvas and the paper let's you gives more of the feel of canvas. The paper is very thick. I can't recommend it enough.
