Novoflex MFT/NIK Reviews

Worth The Price

After disassembling a bunch of other adapters and seeing how they're built, this one is clearly superior. I am spending a lot of time and money getting hard-to-find, mint copies of lenses I love... I'm not taking chances on them, nor am I interested in flaking or abrading anything on my camera and damaging the mount and/or sensor.

Sturdy

I have used many of the Novoflex adapters on Canon C300s, Black Magic Pocket Cine Cameras and Canon 5D MII and MIII. I find them sturdy and robust with minimal play between the lens & adapter and adapter & camera body. I used this MFT adapter with the Black Magic PCC and it was great. For a bigger lens, like a zoom, you'll want to support the lens. With G series Nikon lenses, the aperature control is good, but having no witness marks to understand the f-stop you are at is a bummer. Minor issue, really.

question

Hi, will this work with EM1 using a Tamron SP 150-600mm Nikon lens ?
Asked by: Vinson
Yes, the Novoflex Nikon to Micro Four Thirds Lens Adapter will allow you to use the Tamron SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di VC USD Lens for Nikon on the Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mirrorless Micro Four Thirds Digital Camera. Do note that this is a manual adapter, so you will have to focus the lens manually, and you will have to set the aperture using the blue aperture ring built onto the Novoflex lens adapter.

question

compatibility with Panasonic af100a?
Asked by: Edgar S.
Extremly well made but lacking anything other than physical coupling. I am not concerned about the lack of auto-focusing but the need for manual aperture stopping down really slows one down. More lenses are comming but too slowly for me. I was told last night, by an Olympus rep, that the Olymups 300mm f/4.0 is due very soon. For me that leaves only one gap, a longer Macro lens, that could be filled by the Nikon 85mm tilt/shift. One of the recient 200mm to 500mm+ might be nice.It should be within Tamron or Sigma's ability to produce one because they have the lens and have made a lens with a functional 4/3 mount.

question

Can I use this adapter with JVC GY LS300 micro 4/3mount to Sigma 18-35 Nikon G lens compatible to be able to cover entire super 35mm sensor?
Asked by: Dragan B.
Yes the sigma 18-35 f1.8 aps-c lens will cover the cinema super 35mm sensor in the ls300. Aps-c is roughly the same size as cinema super 35mm. Sensor Frame Coverage has nothing to do with the mounts.
