Koss KSC75 Overview

The KSC75 headphones from Koss provide high-quality audio in a lightweight and compact design. Okay for around the house

I don't use headphones often, so when the need arises, I would use earbuds, but I found they would hurt my ears after awhile. The same for traditional headphones that use a headband (I have a small head that is hard to fit). I recently purchased a Roku device that came with a jack on the remote for headphones. As I found out, the earbuds that came with it, hurt my ears. Years ago on a flight, I purchased over the ear clip on headphones to watch a movie. Since I purchased them, I kept them after the flight. Recently I found them and tried them out on a few other devices. They were so much more comfortable than either headband or ear bud versions, so I looked for buying something more than the cheaper airplane model. The Koss KSC75 Clip-On Stereo Headphones does what I want and expected. Comfortable and sound is okay. The only issue I had was that they didn't come with any instructions on how to put them on...it is a little tricky and I am tempted to make a video on how to attach to your ears...you can't stretch them over your ears, you slide them over your ears. Bottom line is they are fine for simple use, not overly robust in build so be careful when putting on or taking off.

They sound great for the $20 paid, I had done some research, and I bought a small overhead band that fits the drivers, because the clips did not hold them to my ears very well. This is because I have a smaller head though. I also did a small mod to increase the longevity, as these cheap products are often designed with intentional flaws to get them to break sooner. The mod involved cutting a more direct path for the wire, and adding a hot glue buffer on the wire to keep get rid of tension on the fragile connections on the internal components.They are very lightweight, and feel good. Not great in noisy environments, or if you have maybe a loud fan running in the background. I am impressed and hope they last me a while before breaking.

I got these as a cheaper replacement for both of my Koss Porta Pro's that ended up breaking after about three or four months (which I really hope doesn't happen to these). The low end on these definitely isn't as apparent compared to the Koss Porta Pro headphones, but it still has enough. They sound good, especially for $20. I looked at a few different places and it seemed that B&H had the best online price for these at the time of my purchase. Shipping was quick and item was packaged well.

These headphones are a pleasure because they sit on the ear, not in the ear like earplug types do. I actually can hear the words of songs better!

Comfortable, decent sound, but flimsy & poor isolation

If you can't stand in-ear buds, these are for you. Comfortable, good sound. They don't last, though; I always keep a backup pair because I know from long experience that the connection between wire & earpiece can go at any time. Oh, and acoustic isolation is bad in both directions, so they won't work too well on a bus & may bug your neighbors in a quiet office.

I bought these based on an audiophile YouTube reviewer. Im glad I did. Such a great pair! I'll be buying more in case this breaks. The chords are thinner than I would like but you can't go wrong with the price. 100 percent worth it.
