Bower CS77 reviews

CS77 77mm Pro Snap-On Lens Cap is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 89.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect! I loose lens caps frequently. I have been constantly trying different styles to find one that is easy to place correctly & quick to remove. When I say easy to place I mean that a few of the caps I've tried don't fit immediately so I wouldn't place it snugly the first time & it fell off never to be seen again (a few times I cought it in time) This lens cap is 1) extremely easy to remove, put on, and STAYS in place. 2) Take it off & put it on perfect with most lens hood. 3) The BEST cap for all of my lenses, none other compared. 4) The pinch lock is AMAZING! I would recommend, and I am ordering a space for each of my lenses.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Step In The Right Direction I consider a center pinch lens cap a must if you use a lens hood. Canon should ship their lenses with such a lens cap. I have only one minor niggle with this lens cap. For my large-ish fingers, I'd like to see something done to the center pinch portion to aid in gripping. Maybe the pinch area could be cupped or ribbed in some way because I feel like I just can't get a really confident grip of the pinch area. Again, it may just be due to my large-ish fingers. I haven't seen anything that competes with this brand so, it's the best alternative to the Canon OEM lens cap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the job & the price is right I bought 3 lens caps for my Canon gear to compare: 1 Canon, 1 Tamron, 1 Bower. I found all 3 to work well, but the pinch-style of the Tamron and the Bower were much easier to use than the Canon. The Bower works as well as the Tamron and is cheaper, so it has become my favorite.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Elegant, functional, inexpensive I lost my original Canon lens cover for my 24-105L lens. I tried one of these because they are similar to a Sigma cover that I have, and I love their functionality so much, I replaced all my Canon caps with these! They can be removed by squeezing the sides like the Canon caps, and alternatively, by squeezing the center tabs, which is handy when the lens hood is in place. They also seem to grip the lens filter threads much better than the Canon caps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great improvement over side-squeeze type Bought to replace the original side-squeeze caps that came with my lens. A huge improvement in usability: these are easy on and easy off, even with the hood in place.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from CS77 77mm Pro Snap-On Lens Cap by Bower I lost my original and I started looking for a replacement. B and H support suggested to buy Pro Snap-On Lens Cap by Bower. After it arrived I was very happy to find that it was a much better than expected, even in my opinion looks less attractive, than original Sigma lens cap. It was professionally packaged and most importantly, it is easie to get on and off!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Lens Cap Isn't Going Anywhere ! I have chased after the lens cap for the lens I bought this new Bower lens cap for one day too many and since replacing my lens with this Bower lens, the only time my lens cap comes off is when I want it off. I would rather have the protection of a lens cap that protects my very expensive lens then to continue to worry about the lens cap that came with my original lens. It truly is a winner! I am considering getting a Bower Lens Caps for all my lenses because of the fact that they hold their grip and protect precious glass.
