One of the primary goals in an IP security establishment is to minimize the degree to which the camera needs to draw upon storage and network resources. For this reason, American Dynamics incorporated this camera with ACC (Active Content Compression) technology - a codec that compresses data up to nine times more efficiently than the MPEG-4 and MJPEG formats while maintaining image quality.
To further enhance data management, image frame rates and resolutions can be fully adjusted according to a specific security need and so that they match a particular network environment.
