The IB-PRE from Technical Pro is a professional-quality rackmount preamplifier designed to take advantage of today's modern audio devices. The unit not only features RCA and XLR/TRS combo inputs, allowing you to connect a plethora of consumer and professional audio equipment, it also features a 30-pin iPod dock connector, as well as USB and FireWire iPod inputs. RCA and XLR outputs let you send audio to mixers, speakers, recorders and more. An RCA composite video output is provided, allowing you to showcase iPod videos.
The preamp also features bass, mid, treble, and balanced controls, giving you precise control over audio tone. A mic/line echo with time, repeat, and volume controls is available, as well as source selector, pad, low-cut, and loudness controls. A front-panel headphone jack provides easy monitoring. The preamp includes a ground-lift switch to eliminate hum caused by ground loops, and it has a selectable operating voltage for worldwide use.
