The Pelco ES30PCBW242N Positioning System with IOC includes a receiver, pan/tilt, 10" standard enclosure, and pressurized IOC (Integrated Optics Cartridge) and can be used both indoor and outdoor.
The camera optics and electronics inside the self-contained, sealed unit are protected from moisture and airborne contaminants. Dry nitrogen pressurized to 10 psig keeps the cartridge free from internal condensation and corrosion. Any drop in pressure, temperature, or humidity beyond factory-set, acceptable limits causes the sensors in the cartridge to send out an alert. The sensors also allow for instant on-screen display of temperature, pressure, and dew point.
The IOC contains a high-resolution day/night camera (520 TVL) and a 24x zoom lens. The system has an input voltage of 24 VAC and comes with a pedestal mount, and includes an EPP pedestal adaptor plate for use with the PM2000/PM2010 mount for pedestal applications.
With die-cast, extruded, and sheet aluminum construction, powder coating, and stainless-steel hardware, the system is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications. Capable of operating in 90 mph winds, it can withstand wind velocities up to 130 mph and can function in temperatures ranging from -50-140°F (-45-50°C). Within 2 hours of starting up, the system can de-ice and be operational from a temperature of -13°F (-25°C). The system has a built-in heater, window defroster/defogger, sun shroud, and insulation blanket.
Variable pan and tilt speeds range from 0.1-40°/sec in manual pan and 0.1-20°/sec in manual tilt. The system has pan preset and turbo speeds of 100°/sec in wind speeds of 50 mph and 50°/sec in the 90 mph wind speed. Capable of 360° continuous pan rotation, the pan/tilt head has a tilt preset speed of 30°/sec and a tilt range of +33 - -83°. The 64 programmable preset positions have a preset accuracy of 0.25°.
In addition to programmable camera settings and title, the system has on-screen compass, tilt, and zoom display. An AC line lock in the positioning system eliminates timing discrepancies in H/V sync that cause picture interruptions at the switching point. With maximum sensitivity of 0.005 lux at 1/2 sec shutter (color) and 0.0005 lux at 1/2 sec shutter (b&w), at 35 IRE, the ¼" CCD image sensor ensures optimum imagery during day as well as night.
Zone blanking across 8 programmable zones with labeling up to 20 characters ensures privacy wherever required, for example, around password panels and combination locks.
An open collector auxiliary output functions for 2 seconds before deactivating. The easy-to-install system has quick and simple electrical connections with 2 power source connections made at the mounting location with wire splices and 1 ground wire splice. With the help of power up recovery mode, the user can decide which operation of the system will be resumed when the power comes back on.
With certifications/ratings such as CE-Class B, FCC-Class B, UL/cUL listed, and C-Tick, the system also meets NEMA Type 4X and IP66 standards for pan/tilt and enclosure, and IP67 standards for pressurized IOC.
