When using this filter on my Tamron 100-400mm f/4.5‐6.3 Di VC USD mounted to my Canon R7, the autofocus is extremely slow and then the photos are very soft/out of focus. If I remove the filter and use the same settings and subject the images are tack sharp and focus lock is obtained quickly. The filter is clean, scratch feee, and there don't appear to be any issues with the coatings.

I will be returning this...it just didn't seem to be high quality and I could not get it on easily

HelloI would like to know if this filter is good enough and it is clear enough without reducing the sharpness of the image at all ?Also is it on the lens 24-70 full frame body going to show any vignetting.Thanks a lott

Yes, the Hoya filter is excellent and will not affect the image quality of the lens or camera. Also, it will not vignette.
