LensCoat LCN2470 Reviews
Lens hood mismatch
The pieces for the body fit perfect - my biggest problem was the lens hood piece. The front curvy positions does not align well - if you align one of the curves the other is distorted. Secondly after you wrap the lens hood its hard to unscrew and put it on for shooting! There seems to be an excess and other than folding it over i don't see any other solution - because if i cut it to the exact , the securing stitch will come apart and in no time it will be all frayed! I ordered lenscoat covers for 14-24, 24-70 & 70-200 - The lens hood piece for the 24-70 was my ONLY problem.
Good but Expensive
It does the job and protects the lens, but it seems excessive to pay $ for about $3.00 worth of neoprene. I'm pretty sure for about $10 you could buy the neoprene and glue at a dive shop and do the job yourself.
