This Dovetail Plate from Meade is dedicated for use with their 7" LX200 and LX90 telescopes. It provides the ability to realize the telescope's full potential by providing a stable mounting platform between the telescope and auxiliary instruments and accessories.
This dovetail plate attaches to the optical tube assembly via the existing bolts to the top or bottom as required. The package includes 2 radius blocks that match the curvature of the optical tube, and stainless steel mounting hardware. The plate is precision-milled from aluminum, and all joining surfaces are chamfered/filleted to eliminate sharp corners and edges.
