Meade Series 5000 OTA Counterweight Set

This Series 5000 OTA Counterweight Set from Meade enhances stability and ease of movement when using Mead's LX200,LX90, and other ACF/SCT telescopes. Attaching various accessories such as cameras and off-axis guiders to the OTA necessitates counterbalancing their additional weight with one or more of these counterweights. These counterweights attach to the telescope by fitting them onto a dedicated accessory plate. If another weight is needed, an additional 3 lb weight (sold separately) can be added to the system.
