Features like motion detection enable you to record only when the cameras perceive abnormal activities. Such features prevent compromise on the security and still save hard drive space for additional storage. The equipment can be connected by an AV to your TV screen or a VGA into your PC's monitor thus cutting on the additional investment on special monitors. The footages are stored in H.264 format thus maximizing the system memory while retaining uncompromised video quality.
The Swann alpha DVRs also feature unique software which enable remote viewing and streaming of the recorded footages over the Internet, making sure that you don't miss out on the events even when you are away.
These DVRs record video footages in both NTSC and PAL formats and display the videos at about 240 frames per seconds. They also feature the multiplex operation which enables you to view, replay and record all at the same time so that you get a complete surveillance.
