An IR camera offers a simple and low cost solution for those needing to monitor an area that is often times dark such as entrances, alleyways, pool areas, driveways, and garages. Using advanced IR technology, the EverFocus SWA31-C11 is able to penetrate the darkness and provide you with visible images at a distance of up 115' (35 m). At the same time, the camera switches from color video to a more light sensitive B/W mode.
This level of night vision complements the camera's excellent image quality of 420 TVL produced by a Sony 1/3" CCD. Automatic electronic shutter and gain control functions further help to boost the camera's sensitivity to low light conditions.
Since IR cameras are mostly used in outdoor locations, EverFocus provided this camera with a robust aluminum housing and an integrated sunshield for safe operation in rain or shine. EverFocus also designed it so that the video and power cable are threaded through the camera bracket, leaving no wires exposed once mounting is complete, for a neater and securer installation.
You'll also appreciate the included varifocal lens, so you can easily change the camera's field of view without having to switch lenses or move the camera from its installation point.
Included with the camera is a mounting bracket (integrated), power supply, 9' cable, and BNC to RCA adapter, taking much of the pain out of the installation process.
