question

I want to put a light duty video head on this tripod. was thinking of the Benro S7. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1139151-REG/benro_s7_video_head_max.html Will that work?
Asked by: Jonathan L.
I don't know if this will answer your question regarding attaching a video head, but I love my 8X CT-314! Mine is equipped with a Really Right Stuff BH-40 ballhead. The head mount screw on the CT-314 is reversible for both 1/4 and 3/8 threaded heads. A locking setscrew to prevent the head from loosening is an especially nice touch, too. The legs adjust and lock firmly, and do not creep or slide even when using the bag hook to hold 25 lbs. or more. I have used tripod in rain, snow, Death Valley heat...in surf, creeks, and around waterfalls and it is none the worse for wear. The included tool kit makes maintenance and adjustments a snap. Highly recommended!

Am interested in the Induro 8X CT314 tripod. Don't like the long center columns on tripods. One of the customer reviews mentions an optional shorter center column. Can you provide more info on this?

question

what is the difference between the ct313 and ct314?
Asked by: Anonymous
The Induro CT314 has four leg sections while the CT313 has three leg sections. This allows the CT314 to fold down more compact.
