JVC UX-GN6 CD Micro Component System

With its built-in clock/sleep timer, the JVC UN-GN6 CD Micro Component System can wake you up whenever you want. But with its novel motion sensor, you now also can wake it up. By waving your hand in front of the UN-GN6 in standby mode, you can illuminate its controls and the LED display.

Once you're awake, you'll appreciate that the three-piece system plays CD and CD-R/RW discs, and digital files in the MP3 and WMA formats with their respective ID3 and WMA tags. If you have music stored on a USB device, such as a flash drive, the UX-GN6 can handle it as well.

To listen to your iPod instead, place it in the JVC's dock connection and control it through the stereo system's remote control. You'll be amazed at the sound.

For conventional listening, the micro component system has a built-in AM/FM radio for music, sports, news, and talk programs. Programming your favorite stations is easy with the JVC's 15 AM and 30 FM presets. And when you want to listen to the music on another portable audio or cassette player, just plug it into the unit's analog audio jack.

Courtesy of the JVC's 120W of total power, you'll enjoy room-shaking sound over the system's two-way bass-reflex speakers. You can tailor the music to your tastes with the bass/treble tone control and Hyper-Bass Sound function. In addition, there are seven sound modes: rock, pop, classical, jazz, reggae, salsa, and samba.
