The Jony MotorHead 10 Pan/Tilt Remote Control gives you precision remote control for video or film cameras up to 10 lbs in weight. It mounts over or under the end of a JonyJob or most other jib arms, and will smoothly and accurately pan and tilt your camera up to 360 degrees on either axis, using a proportional joystick. It can also be bolted on a stationary mount. It operates on 12V to 24V DC and is equipped with an industry standard 4-pin XLR power connector. Digital control is via a linear or logarithmic joystick, with knobs to adjust your preference of deadspot and speed control.
With the linear joystick, each degree of movement produces an equal amount of speed increase.
With the logarithmic joystick, in the first half of the joystick movement, each degree reflects smaller increases in speed, but in the second half joystick movement increases faster to catch up to full power. This makes slower speeds more controllable, yet keeps top speeds available if necessary.
Speed control limits top speed and spreads the new speed over the full movement of the joystick, producing more accuracy where needed.
