The Mace All-In-One Proximity Keypad Lockset is a single unit proximity keypad lockset system with a proximity reader, keypad, and lock for standalone keyless entry applications. Its mounting template makes it easy to install, and requires no wiring or door frame cutting; it offers a cost effective solution for locally managed access control for office doors with standard cylindrical locksets.
Secure keypad command codes and proximity programming credentials make user access activation/deactivation easy. With a keypad access code, the door unlocks only when an authorized number is entered; in case of proximity credentials, a button needs to be pressed or the handle needs to be depressed to initiate the unit, following which the authorized card or card + PIN unlocks the door.
A cylindrical latch and strike plate provide added security. The unit offers a 30,000 operation battery life, and has a low-battery annunciation warning. The anti-shim plunger prevents forced entry. A standard 9V battery bypass allows unlocking if the unit is discharged completely. The door system supports wrong code retry lockout; it has a backlit keypad, LEDS, and offers sounder annunciation.
