Vixen Optics 14511 reviews

Foresta 8x32 DCF HR Binocular is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent optically and very good mechanically. Great value I bought this for birding and wildlife viewing primarily, although it is a very versatile binocular. The optics are first-rate with excellent transmission and contrast. Colors are very true to life. Mechanically it feels quite solid. Functionally, everything works well but the eyecups do not engage with firmness into the intermediate detents. They do stay put, but I find myself having to check them frequently. The only other con, and it is minor, is that the focusing wheel feels a little light and hollow, but it does its job. Overall, you would be hard pressed find better optical performance at the current price. I would give it 4.5 stars if I could

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good for its price I'm using it as an occasional tourist. It is very good compared to price I've paid ($$). The only problem is the chromatic aberration which could be smaller (it was easily seen when snow was out). There were claims that field of view of this model is smaller by 0.5 deg. I've checked that in mine it is as specified.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Binoculars Really sharp view, excellent!! But it is a bit on the heavy side which is a drawback. Anything lighter is not as sharp. I will trade weight for clarity.
