The 220V 73579EL Cosmopolitan Electrol 70 x 70" Motorized Screen from Da-Lite is a ceiling or wall mounted electric screen. A variety of finishes and veneer options are available.

Video Spectra 1.5 Screen Surface

Video Spectra 1.5 is a fiberglass surface with a reflective coating for lower output non-high-definition projectors. It offers increased brightness with a reduced viewing angle. Suitable for uncontrolled ambient light. Cone: 70° Gain: 1.5

Low Voltage Control (LVC)

Allows the included wall switch, as well as devices such as automation systems, third-party wall switches, and remotes that support LVC, to raise or lower the screen remotely

Can this be recessed into a suspended ceiling with the proper framing?

While you would have a gap around the case, and it might not look fantastic where it sits beneath the ceiling, there's no reason why you couldn't hang it above the ceiling and improvise framing.

After almost a year of once a week operation at our church the screen stopped all movement. An electrician was able to lower it for use by bypassing the box with a low voltage feed . What is needed to restore normal operation??

Yes. This screen is designed for electricity roughly 220V/240V. Electricity fluctuates so voltage is not consistent.
