LabelWriter 4XL Label Printer is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 93.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from It prints labels but... On the positive side the 4XL prints quickly and quietly and it works with it works with #30915 Dymo Stamp lables and the Dymo/ Endicia postage program so we will put to use for USPS postage. On the less than positive side, We originally purchased the 4XL printer specifically to print UPS labels. After installation and our first attempt to print a UPS label... We found that the Dymo 4XL is not currently certified by UPS and with the simple additional of a software package it is then possible to print UPS/USPS/DHL labels but, this software requires a subscription with a monthly reoccurring charge.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sweet Little Printer We use this printer at work to print courier weigh bill labels. It is better than folding an 8.5x11 sheet of paper and placing it inside a huge zip-loc envelope to ship packages and letters. It also looks more professional and helps you appear a larger company than you are! It is fast, quiet and very economical as the only supplies you will need is the labels, 4x6 from B&H at around 18.95 /roll with 220 labels on each roll...VERY good buy, VERY economical. The unit looks great, features an auto powersaving mode when inactive and our company would highly recommend, this unit for any small business wanting better shipping productivity and professionalism.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great printer-once it is up and running I am an Etsy seller. I bought this printer to streamline my mailing process. The printer did not work out of the box. After contacting Dymo customer support they sent me a 12 step process to correct the problem. It did correct the issue. When I had problems printing an actual mailing label I contacted Dymo customer service again. This time they were not so helpful, they forwarded me to two other customer service reps (one being Endicia who wanted to sell me something I did not need). I finally fixed the problem on my own, without help from Dymo, but lots of help from Google. Dymo customer service is definitely lacking and their techs could use more training. It was a simple fix, that no one at Dymo seemed to understand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Its the goto label printer for most small business This thing is a work horse, it can print all day long. Ive had mine over a year and have printed tons with it. For the negative reviews I just think to myself you do know printers arent the easiest to work with. Thanks to the many different softwares and integrations, but none the less paypal, shipstation, ebay all work with this label maker. Heck I print even pictures and silly stuff on these. The only thing that does happen is this sometimes stops responding and you have to unplug it since it doesnt have a power button. Im picky, this thing works as good as a printer can. Its also a big label so usps doesnt lose my stuff as much, isnt that magical.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Labelmaker! Loved the LabelWriter 4XL that I received. It's so easy to use and lets you get creative. I've made labels for school, for a party and for a community event and it has been a breeze to use. I let friends use it too so they could try it and it was a hit in the community event. We were able to print mailing labels and badges really fast. Some friends asked where to get one too and quite a few were considering the option of buying one for themselves. It was also super useful in my home business, I was able to organize my files printing file labels, printed mailing labels, postage and so much more! I received a free product for the purpose of my review. Opinions are 100% my own.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worked Great until it didn't anymore Like another reviewer my machine will spit out a bunch of blank labels before or after printing the label. Yes, I've made sure it's loaded properly, yes it's all the way to the left. This started happening when I got through 75% of my first roll of labels. Now I guess I have to buy the cleaning cards (which should come with the machine in my opinion) to see if that helps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best investment I made in years! ...This thermal printer is the best one on the market and for an affordable price. Very easy to get set up and start printing labels. It saves me so much time and ink cost! I can't imagine running my business without it now. It paid for itself within a week and is a priceless asset to the functionality of my shipping department. I can process and print labels in seconds, literally.I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a top of the line thermal printer for a super price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dymo Label Writer 4XL review The Dymo Labelwriter 4XL seems to be a smooth operating label printer. Its fast to print. However, in my distribution center, I need a printer that is capable of holding at least a 500 label roll. This unit seems to be able to hold only a 250 label roll. That is the main drawback for my use. The printer is very light in weight. That posses a problem as well because when we try to tear the label on the tear off bar, the printer is constantly moving. If this printer was heavier and could hold a larger roll of thermal paper it would work for our needs. If you do not need that type of capacity, I would highly recommend this printer. Its very fast to print and extremely easy to set up with any application and shipping software. Much easier to integrate into your systems than a Zebra, but a bit to light for our duty cycle.
