  • 3000:1 Contrast Ratio
  • DMD DLP Chip Technology by TI

The Optoma TX615 is a flexible and powerful projector.

Keystone correction is plus or minus 40 degrees vertical and you can use the TX615 from a table top, mounted on a ceiling and using either front or rear projection. There are few places you can't use this projector.

There are many more reasons you can use this projector just about anywhere. Its 100 – 240 V AC auto switching power supply will work in many countries and its ability to project in NTSC, PAL and SECAM make it a true international performer. For good measure the onscreen display (OSD) offers a choice of 23 languages and the projector offers closed captioning from sources that provide it.

On the high definition front the TX615 can project in 720i, 1080i and 1080p. It can also sync with more than three dozen PC and Macintosh resolutions.

There's still more power and flexibility to come. This projector is ready for wired networking. With its RJ45 jack you can plug the projector into your LAN and monitor and control it from across the hall or across the ocean via the Internet.

If the two five watt speakers aren't loud enough for your chosen venue you can plug external wired speakers into the TX615's stereo mini jack audio output

Of course the TX615 has a wireless remote. But its remote is also a laser pointer, allowing you to pinpoint your topic on screen. What's more, it's also a wireless mouse for PC-based presentations.

You'd expect such a valuable asset to be protected by multiple security measures and you'd be right. You can password protect the projector to lock out unauthorized users. You can also physically secure it with an optional Kensington security lock or a steel cable (not included) threaded through its security bar. You'd be proud to have the TX615 in your media room and it also works for corporate and educational installations.

3500 ANSI Lumens With a 3000:1 Contrast Ratio
This high-powered projector can be used in large meeting rooms and auditoriums where there's a great deal of ambient light.
0.55 Inch Texas Instruments DLP DMD With BrilliantColor
TI's patented DLP imager features an innovation it calls BrilliantColor. Unlike other technologies such as LCD that use just three primary colors to produce the image, DLP Technology with BrilliantColor uses up to six separate colors. Color accuracy is paramount to a quality image. BrilliantColor not only improves color accuracy, it brightens secondary colors as well. This combination produces a new level of color performance that increases the brightness of the colors by up to 50% over DLP projectors without BrilliantColor for accurate, true-to-life images. As a bonus, DLP systems don't require filters that have to be periodically cleaned and replaced.
Internationally Operational
The TX615 has a 100 - 240 V AC, auto switching power supply and the ability to accept and project video in the NTSC, NTSC 4.43, PAL B, D, G, H, I, M, N and SECAM B, D, G, K, K1, L standards. In addition to its native XGA (1024 x 768) resolution the TX615 can sync with more than three dozen other PC and Macintosh resolutions. And its onscreen display offers a choice of 23 languages making this projector a great choice no matter where in the world you are.
IR Wireless Remote With Laser Pointer and Wireless Mouse Functions
Wireless remotes are old news. The TX615's is another story. It's tricked out with a laser pointer and wireless mouse functions. Imagine scrolling a spreadsheet to the exact numbers you need to emphasize or using the laser to point out a feature in a cathedral you photographed on your European vacation.
Ready For Wired Networking; Wireless With Optional Dongle
The TX615 offers remote monitoring and control capabilities over a LAN network via its integrated RJ45 jack. It can also be controlled via its RS232 jack. Add wireless connectivity with an optional dongle.
Robust Security is Built Into The TX615
You can prevent unauthorized use of the projector by password protecting it. For physical security the projector has a security bar through which you can thread a steel cable (not included) and a slot for an optional Kensington lock.
Closed Captioning Includes Your Whole Audience
This projector can display closed captioning from sources that provide it. CC comes in handy not only for the hard of hearing but also for those learning English as a foreign language. And it can help you get your message across in noisy environments too.
