Key Features
  • CP-A100 Projector
  • FXDUO-77 Interactive White Board
  • StarBoard Interactive Software (PC)
  • RM Easiteach Software (PC)
The Hitachi CP-A100 Projector w/ FXDUO-77 Interactive White Board (PC) has everything you need to create a 21st Century classroom.

The heart of the system is the CP-A100 ultra short throw projector. It's got a native resolution of XGA (1024 x 768) at a 4:3 aspect ratio but it's also compatible with 16:9 ratio programming.

The projector produces a bright 2500 ANSI Lumens and has a contrast ratio of 500:1. So your presentations will be impressive even in a bright room. With LAN access through its RJ-45 jack you can even monitor and control your CP-A100 (or a whole fleet of them) from one place. This saves you time and reduces the total cost of ownership.

The Hitachi CP-A100 has an ultra short throw capability, delivering a 60" diagonally-measured image at only 16.5" away from the screen. This provides many benefits including optimizing available space, flexibility for intimate or large environments, more room for presenter and audience, shadow free presentations, and no direct glare from the projector's light.

The projection surface for the CP-A100 is the FXDUO-77 Interactive White Board with the latest PC version of StarBoard software. The 77 inch diagonal screen itself is tough and durable and its electronic-free surface will work even if slightly damaged. The board uses both an image sensor and an infrared method to accept input. You (and your students) can annotate and mark up presentations with a stylus, finger or optional electronic pen. Two people can work on the board at once. You can view, print, save and publish your lessons.

The StarBoard software allows you to build and share lessons in a variety of innovative ways. You can write over video images from external devices, and use the board for distance education. In fact you can write directly on any application including MS Office and PDF documents with 72 different "inks": standard colors, highlighters, 3-D and patterned inks. The Intelli-Pen function allows you to draw perfect geometric shapes that can be colored, resized and reshaped.

Such a powerful teaching tool requires a secure mount that will keep the projector out of the way and away from curious student fingers. That's where the A100WALLARM comes in. Its load capacity of 50 pounds exceeds the CP-A100's mere 12.8 pounds by a very comfortable margin. It mounts the projector on the wall above the screen. It can tilt the projector 20 degrees up or down, roll it plus or minus 10 degrees and swivel it plus or minus 15 degrees. Its cable management system does not require you to punch a hole in the ceiling.

The final ingredient of the package is the PC version of RM Easiteach software. Easiteach allows you to build and deliver interactive lessons and it includes toolbars for math, science, English language arts and geography. The software can be installed on up to five computers and access to state-aligned lessons and activities is included.

Hitachi Ultra Short Throw Technology
The projector uses a high performance, free shaped lens; this allows the projector to produce a 60" image, at only 16.5" from the mirror to the screen
Benefits of an Ultra Short Throw Projector
  • Optimizes available space
  • Flexible for both intimate and large environments
  • More room for presenter and audience
  • Shadow free presentations
  • No direct glare from the projector light
  • LAN through RJ-45
This feature enables you to monitor and control your projector from one place so less time is required for checking and maintenance, reducing the total cost of ownership. You can:
  • Turn all your projectors off at once
  • Schedule maintenance to reduce the projector downtime
  • Prevent loss, with an e-mail alert when the projector becomes disconnected from the LAN
  • High Performance and High Brightness
To reproduce highly detailed and bright images, it is essential to have super-bright performance with 2500 ANSI lumens. The contrast ratio of 500:1 ensures that images are sharp, crisp, and easy to see. The projector also provides excellent brightness uniformity.
    Keystone Correction
Room layout often dictates that images have to be projected at an angle to the screen. Keystone, or trapezoidal, image distortion is the result. The vertical manual keystone correction feature allows you to correct these distortions.
    Security Features
The projector has pin lock, MyScreen pin lock, keypad lock, Kensington slot and E-mail alerts.
