I really like Pelican. I have more cases than I can count and greatly depend on these for equipment protection. It's just good stuff. I had a older iM2100 case that I had recut the foam and repurposed several times. Since the case is still in very good shape I decided to spring for the replacement foam. What's a few dollars to protect a couple thousand worth of equipment. The foam came in a plain cardboard box, the foam was not in plastic, so over time the edges of the foam discolored since it was up against the box interior. It smells okay, feels okay, I can detect no moisture but to pay retail for foam and have the edges slightly discolored just gives me an uneasy feeling. If I send it back I have to eat the shipping so I guess I have to live with it. One sticker on the outside of the box states 2018 and another is 2016. If this had been in a plastic bag inside the box this wouldn't be an issue. What to do?
