Exact replacement for SMT3000RM2U

OEM (? - sure) replacement batteries are a two-edged sword. The cost is as reasonable as buying a new car but the alternatives are just not worth the gamble. This has been my experience, I have 7 APC rack mount units. The perception that these OEM batteries are safer is a plus too, although I would bet the knock-offs are made in the next stall over. Again, my experience is that these will last as long as the original units. Good luck with yours!

question
are there instructions for switching the cartridge?
If I recall, there are instructions provided but it's simple. Leave the unit powered on, unplug the power connector from the battery pack, remove the screws holding it in, swap the battery pack, replace the screws, plug the connector back in. Check the display to clear any errors and/or verify no errors.
