Rated 5 out of 5 by from works great The PH-08 quick release works great! Have been using it with my Nikon D90 for the past year and a half and absolutely no problems.....other than my kids losing the quick release recently. Just purchased a new one. Locks positively and holds firmly, even when using a 70-300 lens.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not grip firmly to the Nikon D90 This quick release plate came with the Benro BHQR-0 Ballhead that I purchased with a Benro Travel Angel tripod. I was disappointed to discover that it does not grip firmly to my Nikon D90. I have another tripod with a different ballhead and quick release plate which works fine. I went to a camera shop and we tried it on various cameras and it is definitely an incompatibility problem with the D90. It works with cameras that have a smooth bottom. I will have to purchase a new quick release plate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just like OEM Bought two of these so each of my three cameras could have one. They are identical to the ones that came with my ball head. Got them here for 1/3 the price they were selling for on-line at a popular auction site ...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light Easy to Use Quick Release Plate This quick release plate for the Benro tripod is very light and easy to install. It allows for quick and secure installation of a camera on the tripod. It is also very light, which is important for hiking.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It works fine, but it is lacking... I had my QR plate stolen for my Induro tripod (just another brand made by the same people as Benro). This is supposed to be the replacement part. It is, and it fits fine and does the job. However my replacement parts were not the same quality as the originals. The hole for the screw-in is larger, and a small c-clip is clipped onto the screw to keep it from falling out. As long as that c-clip stays on I guess it's ok...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not Bad I purchased one of these because my camera was stolen along with the quick release plate of my induro akb1 tripod. Underneath was a trimmed metal which is not exactly the same as the piece on my original tripod. Maybe this unit I have has imperfections on it. It still does the job so I didnt bother to return and exchange it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bad fit The quick release plate locks into place quite well but is quite difficult to unlock. It sticks and you really have push hard to release it. It seems like it is not sized properly for this ball head. Both the locking clamp and the plate get marked up every time it locks into place. Better than nothing I guess.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lost benro plate. This did the trick It has the same mechanism to tighten it to the camera as the original one (i can't remember PH-07). It feel very sturdy and it clicks perfectly on my old Benro BH0 head. It works great and it even fits by Tascam DR-44WL on recording sessions. Suggestion to Benro: - Make a chart of plates to match heads.
