The VCUTP Video Conversion Board from Pelco allows video from a Spectra III SE or Spectra III dome system or from an ExSite integrated positioning system to be transmitted over unshielded twisted pair (UTP) wiring.
When the VCUTP board is matched with a passive video receiver, the dome system can be controlled by a Coaxitron controller. When matched with an active receiver, the dome system can be controlled using a controller with P or D protocol. The maximum cable distance to a passive receiver is 500 feet. The device works with all major suppliers of UTP modules.
