question

What are the (main) differences between the TBH-250 and the SBH-250?
Asked by: Anonymous
I don't know the differences ut I can say I have been very happy with the SBH 250. Use mount my Canon 6D and Tamron 150-600 lens on it and it handles the rig very well.

question

I have a tripod Vanguard ABEO AB 243. I can exchange for SBH-250 Ball Head?
Asked by: Hector F. G.
Hector, I have two SBH 250's on Vanguard tripods and a SBH 100 on a mono pod. I like the fact that Vanguard is Made in the USA, plus I once owned a SBH-50 which failed after a year and Vanguard took care of it ASAP. They actually upgraded me to a 100. I have Big glass and 500mm telephoto on my D750 and the head is great. I've had them for a couple of years and no issues. The way they swivel, they can still be used for video shooting also. I would recommend and I would purchase again.Ken S, NE Ohio

question

what tripod will go with this head?
Asked by: Anonymous
This head has a dual thread size capability of both 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 which are the two sizes tripods use in the photo industry. Therefore this head could be used on virtually any tripod. If you need help selecting a tripod, please send an email to [email protected] and list the features youre interested in (maximum height, folded height, weight etc) and we can offer you recommendations.
