The Clover Electronics 4570 Stand-Alone Digital Video Recorder (4-channel) features triplex mode (simultaneous live view, recording, and playback) operation. The DVR's 720 x 480 resolution and real-time display and recording (at 120 ips) ensure that the video captured is detailed and covers fast-moving objects with clarity. In addition, the recording speed is programmable; this allows you to prioritize your surveillance as per your threat perception. For example, in a low-threat environment, you may set a lower recording speed and thereby conserve storage space.
The DVR supports up to two HDDs. Storage capacity can be further augmented with a USB 2.0 port that allows data backup on USB-compatible devices. The recorder supports remote control and monitoring over TCP/IP. Search options include Time/Date, Event, and Recording Lists
You can set the DVR to start recording the surveillance feed upon an event-triggered alarm. The motion detection feature initiates recording when motion is detected in the user-defined field of view.
For ease of use, the DVR comes with a handy jog dial. The unit has 4 mini din inputs and 4 BNCs. The DVR allows pan-tilt control via the Pelco D protocol, and also comes with DDNS support.
