Pelco EH3500 ImagePak Color Camera Kit (3-8.5mm Lens, Mount)

The Pelco EH3500 ImagePak Color Camera Kit (3-8.5mm Lens, Mount) consists of a EH3512-2HD enclosure, a C10DN-6 Day/Night Camera, 13VDIR3-8.5 varifocal lens, and EM1450 light-duty wall mount.

The EH3512-2HD is an indoor/outdoor 24VAC enclosure with built-in heater and defroster. The thermostatically controlled heater activates at 50°F (10°C) and switches off at 80°F (27°C), while the defroster operates continuously. With die cast and extruded aluminum construction and a gray polyester powder coat, the corrosion-resistant enclosure can withstand operating temperatures ranging from -10 to 120° F (-23 to 49° C). The removable camera sled inside the enclosure can be easily accessed via the front hinged lid and the link-lock latch at the rear can be padlocked for security. The camera sled has multiple holes and can be inverted for additional camera elevation. Two adjustable (PG13.5) glands on the bottom make installation of power and video cables easy. The enclosure is CE-compliant, UL/cUL-listed and meets NEMA Type 4 and IP66 standards.

The C10DN-6 Day/Night camera has a 1/3" CCD color image sensor and offers a high resolution of 540TVL, With a minimum illumination of 0.3 lux (color mode) and 0.07 lux (B&W mode), the camera is suited for low-level night time surveillance. The camera uses a removable IR cut filter to switch between color and black & white per the changes in ambient lighting.The compact camera has a standard CS lens mount, and can be used with fixed, manual, or auto iris (DC or video drive) lenses.

Area masking, titling, pixel correction, and preset lighting profiles can be selected through the on-screen menu, using the side joystick. Automatic gain control adjusts the signal strength to maintain a constant brightness level. Backlight compensation adjusts video gain to correct the exposure when the object being captured is in front of a bright light source. Auto white balance takes a standard white color reference to adjust the RGB (red, green, and blue) colors to produce good quality images in a wide range of lighting conditions. The auto iris is controlled through a standard 4-pin square connector (included).

The camera features ESC (Electronic Shutter Control), flickerless mode, and autosensing power (24 VAC with internal line lock or 12 VDC with internal synchronization) and offers long distance cable compensation.

Connecting via the included 4-pin plug, the 13VDIR3-8.5 lens compensates for the focus shift, resulting from the different wavelengths of visible and IR light. Focusing light energy on the same plane, the IR-corrected lens produces better focus, sharper contrast, and better overall image quality. The IR-corrected lenses allow a camera's imager to take in visible and IR illumination (when the IR cut filter is not deployed), while eliminating the problem of IR focus shift. The lens features a direct-drive auto iris and has a zoom ratio of 2.8x. A relative aperture size between f/1.0 and f/1.6 allows the lens to perform across a wide range of lighting conditions. The lens features aspheric elements, which reduce the level of distortion and provide crisp, clear images at all focal lengths.

The SS3512 sun shield protects the EH3512 enclosure from direct sunlight and reduces the internal temperature by approximately 10° F (-12.22° C).
