Pelco EH3500 ImagePak Color Camera Kit (5-50mm Lens)

The Pelco EH3500 ImagePak Color Camera Kit (5-50mm Lens) consists of an EH3515-2 enclosure, a C10CH-6 digital CCD color camera, and a 13VA5-50 varifocal lens.

The EH3515-2HD is an indoor/outdoor 24VAC enclosure with a built-in heater and defroster. The thermostatically controlled heater activates at 50°F (10°C) and switches off at 80°F (27°C), while the defroster operates continuously. With die-cast and extruded aluminum construction and a gray polyester powder coat, the corrosion-resistant enclosure can withstand operating temperatures ranging from -10 to 120° F (-23 to 49° C). The removable camera sled inside the enclosure can be easily accessed via the front hinged lid and the link-lock latch at the rear can be padlocked for security. The camera sled has multiple holes and can be inverted for additional camera elevation. Two adjustable (PG13.5) glands on the bottom make installation of power and video cables easy. The enclosure is CE-compliant, UL/cUL-listed and meets NEMA Type 4 and IP66 standards.

With an ultra-high resolution of 540TVL, the C10CH-6 digital CCD color camera has a 1/3" CCD imager. With a minimum illumination requirement of 0.3 lux, the camera is suited for low-level nighttime surveillance. The compact camera has a standard CS lens mount, and can be used with fixed, manual, or auto iris (DC or video drive) lenses.

Area masking, titling, pixel correction, and preset lighting profiles can be selected through the on-screen menu, using the side joystick. Automatic gain control adjusts the signal strength to maintain a constant brightness level. Backlight compensation adjusts video gain to correct the exposure when the object being captured is in front of a bright light source. Auto white balance takes a standard white color reference to adjust the RGB (red, green, and blue) colors to produce good quality images in different light conditions. The analog eclipser function allows the lens to create clear images of subjects in a dark area with a strongly backlit background.

The camera features ESC (Electronic Shutter Control), flicker-less mode, and autosensing power (24VAC with internal line lock or 12VDC with internal synchronization) and offers long distance cable compensation.

Connecting via the included 4-pin plug, the 13VA5-50 adjustable varifocal lens is a CS mount lens that features a direct-drive and has 10x optical zoom (manual). The adjustable lens has a focal length of 5-50mm. A relative aperture size between f/1.4 and close allows the lens to perform across a wide range of lighting conditions.
