The CP50 from Yamaha is a lightweight and compact stage piano ideal for studio and touring musicians. The piano has an 88-key weighted graded hammer action keyboard to provide a realistic piano feel. The piano uses Yamaha's Spectral Component Modeling (SCM) tone generation system to provide rich, natural sounds, including 12 different acoustic and electric pianos, with 215 other tones, including organs, strings, and more. There is also a customize function that lets you create original piano sounds.
The piano offers terrific connectivity for connection to a variety of systems and devices. It has standard 1/4" outputs, MIDI in, out, and thru jacks, a USB to Host port, and a standard headphone connector. It also has standard 1/4" pedal and foot controller jacks, and a pedal unit is included. Other features of the piano include 3-band EQ, built-in rhythms, integrated effects, and recording and playback functions for both MIDI and audio. Steinberg Cubase AI DAW software is bundled, allowing you to create and manipulate songs on your computer.
